CLEAR in the FOG(Poster, Book)
This collection of my work shares the same title as the exhibition “Cl in the FOG.” It all started with an exhibition request from ginza graphic gallery roughly one year prior to the exhibitionÕs opening. All of these works are expressions of my personal design views at the time, and for the first time, I incorporated words into the typography as if whispering. The parent organization of this gallery is Dai Nnippon Printing (DNP) Co., Ltd., which had a significant impact as I was able to apply diverse printing technologies. These diverse printing techniquestechnologies include offset printing, printoutoutput byof latest models, print to canvas, laser-cut typography on acrylic and binding dummiesbook bundle samples, letterpress printing, fax carbon paper, wood prints, rubber stamps, and so on. Dai Nippon PrintingÕs cooperation allowed me to use the Shuei-Mincho font, something that had never been permitted before, and in the end I completed them in many types of frames. But then when I thought the fog had finally cleared, I found myself shrouded in fog once again.
