Ingenuity/Nature. 妙法/自然。

Water calligraphy.
On and off
it has been in my mind
ever since I experienced the touching feat firsthand
in a park of Guangzhou many years ago.

Not just because its cultural history and humanity,
Not just because its composition and environmental sensitive.
Not just because its zen meditation-like practice.

It is the most meaningful response to the form and emptiness of the Buddhist. Everything from absence to presence, and from presence to absence. Form itself is emptiness. Emptiness itself is form.

Alias anothermountainman, had been worked as Creative Director for many renowned advertising companies. In 2007, Wong set up 84000 communications to focus on commercial, cultural branding and promotion works. Wong has won more than 500 awards in fine art, photography, graphic design and advertising at home and abroad. Recently, he presents as guest lecturer through numerous colleges and universities in local and overseas. His works “Redwhiteblue” have won critical acclaim both locally and internationally and had travelled to Venice as one of the two art works from Hong Kong presented at the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005. Wong was also just awarded the Artist of the Year 2011 (Visual Arts) from Hong Kong Arts Development Awards and the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Awards 2012 from Hong Kong Museum of Art.
